Good for basic stuff

So I tried AskCodi out for a month, mostly because my buddy told me about it. I used the VS Code Extension a bit for some basic Python stuff. Smooth setup, useful features

I decided to try AskCodi after seeing some comparisons to GitHub Copilot. Check around Black Friday or Cyber Monday too, they usually have bigger sales then. And if you're open source, there's a discount for that too, I think.

Is my code safe with AskCodi? Like, do they store it or use it to train their models?

Their policy says they don't store your code or use it for training. It's supposed to be private. I'd check their privacy policy just to be sure if you're working with super sensitive stuff.

Afaik, they process it on the fly, but don't keep it. Most of these AI tools are pretty clear about that now due to privacy concerns.

It's not as feature-rich as the VS Code or JetBrains ones, but for basic code generation and chat, it's totally fine in Sublime.

I've tried both. For Python, AskCodi's code generation feels a bit more natural for me. Copilot is good but sometimes suggests boilerplate that isn't quite right. JS is pretty even, honestly.

Free is pretty basic, just gives you a taste. Premium unlocks all the good stuff like multi-model chat, advanced refactoring, and all the custom agents. If you're using it seriously, Premium is definitely worth it for the productivity boost.
